WATER-REDUCING AND SET-EXTENDING CONCRETE ADMIXTURE

A liquid plasticizing admixture acts as a retarder on setting time for freshed concrete. A water reduction can be achieved without loss of workability even in hot climate.

Usage

Sika® Plastiment® R KH is used where high quality concrete is required in difficult conditions, such as :
  •  Hot climate
  • Long hauls
  • Ready-mix concrete
and wherever high quality dense concrete is required.

Compatibility

Sika® Plastiment® R KH is compatible with all types of Portland cement including Sulphate Resistant Cement (SRC).
Consumption

Recommended Dosage

Sika® Plastiment® R KH 200 - 500 CC per 100 kg of cement weight by weight of cement.
Dosage recommend in normal condition is 200 - 500 CC per 100 kg. of cement weight or add more to longer set of concrete in difficult condition.
Actual dosage rate required is dependent on : effect sought; quality of cement and aggregates; W/C; Temperature. In many cases it is advisable to carry out trial mixes to establish the exact rate required.
